Always trying to modify/update my old (1981) R65 Twin Shock . Next thing would like to do if possible is to adapt a pair of wheels to take tubeless tyres . Is it possible?......(answers on a postcard please !) ,any one .Fitted Koni shocks/progressive fork springs.../7 tank..S/S exhaust..S/S bolts..comfort seat...Guzzi Spada fairing...crashbars...panniers so far.Any ideas appreciated.....safe riding Chris.

No - rim profile is wrong for tubeless. I'd recommend Bridgestone BT45 tyres though. But fit new tubes that aren't thin butyl ones. Pay the extra for Michelin or Pirelli.
Rubbery.
Literally.

tubeless wheels for twinshock

Already running BT45"s and was after another type of wheel to adapt for R 65 to take tubeless tyres., possibly of other BMW model?Probably never been done before .......not keen on mending punctures on tubed tyres!

You could try a different source for tubeless. I have a 95 Triumph Tiger with DID rims suitable for tubeless tires. (Canadian spelling) 17" rear & 19" front though. I have sealed the spokes & been running them tubeless for around 10 years. If interested in more info, I could track it down on the Tiger chats.
