:bounce1 Hello to all in the forum. This is my first post, so please go gentle with me:thumb.
Basically, although I am very happy with the all-roundedness of my 1200 Adventure, I really feel that it would benefit from another 10bhp.

Does anyone have a suggestion as how to achieve this without affecting reliability or driveability? :nenau

I look forward to your thoughts.

Ill Phil.

Ditch the cat, put on new headers and that's about it - maybe you'll get 5-7bhp but if you're a hp freak then it really is the wrong genre of bike.

Any other "performance add-ons" will only give negligible if any results :(

Just ride the torque and enjoy the ride :thumb

OK. How about...
K+N filter
Drop the std exhaust and cat
I bet the Erics have some fuel maps up for grabs. (Chipped the old 1100 years ago)
Study HP2 and 'S' states of tune for more ideas.

How quick was that!

Thanks guys -especially or the speed of your responses.

Just one thing -who are the 'Erics?' :nenau

Gorden Brown has just re-formed the Spice girls! (why?)

buy a 1200S and use the engine out of that. throw the GS motor and the rest of the S in a skip.
