Just fitted a Remus "Y" piece with the standard can and it has made a nice difference to the sound of the bike and it seems like it's a little perkier too. I have noticed that the headers are a little bluer than usual - maybe I just rode it harder, but it may be running leaner and hence hotter.

So - is there anywhere good in the West Mids where I could get it dyno'd, can they sort the mixture correction, if neccesary, without the expense of a Power Commander or similar? Or will it be just fine as it is? Any ideas what it might cost me to get on the Dyno?

Cheers

TTS, Northampton. I know it's not quite W Mids, but.....

Unlikely - a Techlusion box is the preferred choice of many - TTS can advise.

£30 for a basic set-up of a Techlusion box (same for a couple of runs to map whatever you've got). Or, at least, it was last time I enquired.

[edit] P.S. Have you searched for the 'Steptoe link' - may cure your lean running without the expense of a Techlusion.

Personally, I would not worry about it to much. Most dealers will fit a Y-piece anyway without having it Dyno'ed, so they must be sure that its ok, otherwise think about the possible warranty claims!

Like many other people on the site, I have had one fitted on GS's for two years now with no adverse effects.

Dont forget its the West Mids meet tonite?
