I know it looks a bit :ymca but the ones in the pictures are not the usual traffic police.
Traffic control etc is not even in their jurisdiction.
They are the quick-response teams used by the metropolitan police department. They just patrol the city 24-hours and respond in case of a major criminal act (robbery in progress etc.) They always work in two-man teams, one negotiates the bike through the traffic, and the other shoots on the go!:green gri I have seen them do so before, hell, i have even seen one keeping the bike right side-by-side with a thief on a moped while the other kicked the guy sideways, sending the ba***rd and his scooter tumbling down the road. Nobody messes with them here. :rob

Cor, Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode) released a new album last week and still has time to kick some Turkish ass.

Top man.

Depeche Mode will be in concert in Istanbul on May 14th.
We will see if they are still kickin' or not.

I wish we had more of this in our country instead of the usual nanny state.

Did you say kick some ass, or kiss some ass ??

Looks like the Gay Policing rapid response unit to me.:D

I want a job like that

Can you believe it.

You don't have to be Gay to join the Police, but it obviously helps.:D

You have to admit though, I think I`d rather be GS mounted than those of there Mexican equivalents...oh dear........:blast

Pics taken on holiday last year.
