Well, I've done it now!
Just traded my pristine 2010 1200GS with all the gear on it for a R1200RT 90th anniversary edition which I pick up on Friday.
Yes I know - new model coming out next year etc etc but I just couldn't resist all the free toys and the great deal I got to trade. Didn't even test ride the bike!
Anyway, only time will tell if the decision is a good one?
I've really enjoyed the GS - probably the best bike I've had but I fancied a change. May even come back to this model - who knows?
All that's left now is to put the 250 mile used Givi Airflow 330 screen in the "For sale" section - once I figure out how to post some photos.

Wow - what a great choice (and what a great deal)

I don't doubt you'll love every moment of RT ownership.

I'm sure the new model will come of age sometime soon but can you beat a fully sorted old model with shed loads of free extras?

(I couldn't so I bought a Hexhead Adventure)
