Twin Cam fork oil

Heavy bike + heavy rider!

May change the fork oil on my 2010 Ultra Classic this year.
So, assuming the OEM was type E (7-10W), anybody swop for 15 or 20Weight?

Why do I ask; well, this is what a forum is for.

Curious to know albeit I am not so heavy on the brakes most of the time.

Mineral or synthetic?

Know nothing about Harleys but apparently the volume of fork oil, or rather the air gap above it, is maybe as important as the weight of oil used

Just another point to take into consideration

I’ll leave the explanations or advice to someone who knows what they’re talking about

I run 15w in my glide - works for me.
