Twin Cam Genny Belt required Black Forest/Bodensee area Sunday June 10th

Hi,
One of our party had his 2010 gs1200 twin cam generator belt go. We are carrying an 1150 belt but too big. We are organised for a belt tomorrow morning in Karlsrue, but would like to get going again today. Anyone carrying a spare belt we would love to meet. Our party is split between Karlsrue and Lindau.

If you are stuck and anywhere near a car parts shop/volvo dealer the belt is a code 4pk582 which is the same as used on various models of volvo 440k fitted with power steering

Many thanks, nothing open today but if BMW don't have in stock will try Volvo. Off out tonight to find a pair of tights!
 
I don't have a spare belt, but if you need any help tomorrow with sourcing parts from a dealer and collecting/delivering said part(s), please let me know :thumb2
 
As a matter of interest at what mileage has the belt let go ?

Many thanks for the offer, came through Buhl on the 308 today but motorrad came good. Belt failed at 6200 miles and replaced under warranty, many thanks all,
In Arabba now and off out for a beer.
 
Glad to hear everything got sorted and sorry I missed you today - I was working from home as well so would have had time for a quick chin wag.
