Just fitted a twin exhaust system ( this PD won't be going offroad :augie) to my ahem, non original R100gspd. The bike is a R80g/s with 1000cc pots, twin discs, twin sparked and now twin exhausts :)

Draining the gearbox oil will be a PITA as I don't really want to drop the balancer box again so I'll make up a plastic funnel for that !! Other than that, nice s/s system that was originally meant for an R80st .

Rear wheel easily changed with the loosening of a single nut and twisting offside silencer outwards.

Only minor hiccup is that my PD bash plate won't fit now:(...so out with the angle grinder:eek: after Sid and proffs Gentlemans Bash:guitarist OR maybe someone has a spare R80g/s sump guard !!
Thanks to St. Eptoe, sent it before receiving payment ( hmmm hope the cheque has arrived :augie )

Just to annoy you, I may bin the ones on my OE R80g/s and put TKC's on that !!!:augie

Besides, there is a 10 foot strip of grass I ride over on the way to sainsbury's car park...so need those TKC's :D

Now, have you or have you not got a g/s sump guard ?????

Going to do anything to fill up that gaping hole between the pannier and the bike where the OE exhaust used to be? :augie

If anyone wants another system, exactly the same and with H & B big panniers and frames, made for the twin exhaust set up, I have one, (available in about 3 weeks time)

PM me if you are interested

Is that the one that looks like a cheese grater?

I think a few of you will have to buy me a pint at the Gentlemans Do...my feelings are hurt, I feel abused ( and boy can I sulk !!:tears)

Maybe a set of Verns panniers would look good :augie ( although I'd need to get a job first to pay for 'em :( )

PS That gap next to the panniers..I'll be visiting the 1200 section to find out about one of those modern contraptions....a tool roll !!!:D
