I'm sure that I've seen some sort of switch box where you can run two base units side by side with one keyboard, mouse & monitor.

Any one got a set up in use and what switch box do you use?

omi view sold in PC world and other stores does 1-4 pc's to monitor and mouse.

really easy to use plug in and use switch on the front to select the right unit.

I think ours was about £30 and still works 4 years on

or setup remote access to one of the machines and make the other the master also works well.

it'll be a kvm switch you want, like this one but probabbly a bit cheaper :D

[edit] this one looks good but if your using a usb mouse or keyboard you'll have to get an adapter, is your monitor running on the old serial style connection or the new digital one?

I bought one of the Omni ones as it comes with longer cables and means you can site the computers a little further away and keep things tidier. I was about to put it on Ebay if you're interested, £15 plus postage. This worked superbly but I no longer have use for it as only one Pc now.
