The original Rosso tyres lasted just over 2000 miles. I needed to replace them while away on a trip. Could only get Mich PR4s at short notice (and one or two on this site had recommended them). At almost 4000 miles they will soon need replacing. PR4s excellent all round tyres with twice mileage of Rossos but this from Michelin when I enquired about tyre pressures for PR4s:
We actually only recommend our Supersport Evo tyres for this bike, they compliment the fine handling and offer great grip and feel better than any of our other tyres. The Pilot Road 4 tyres can be legally fitted if you wish, in which case we would advise going along with BMWs tyre pressure recommendations.
