Any one had a new Pilot 5 fitted yet? any good, bad etc. Need a new rear tyre before much longer and have Pilot 4 fitted at moment.

I'm coming up to 4000kms on these now......the rear is fairly squared but doesn't seem to be affecting the handling, I'd say there's another 3 - 4000kms left in it. The front looks no different to the photo above!! I'll be putting another rear on before a trip to Spain in early June and then I'll be changing back to Avon Trailriders, not because there is anything particularly wrong with the Pirelli , it's just that the Avon, in my opinion, is the best tyre available for the Hexhead GSA.

Interesting ... I loved my Anakee 3's .. brilliant all round tyre. Will get them again.

Just putting my second Anakee 3 front on. I thought they hadn’t lasted very long but when I checked it was 10,000 miles - I got 7500 out of the rear before a nail knackered that one.

The clue is in the word ENDURANCE
Completely destroyed the side blocks off the STR's over 10 days in Spain/France (3500kms) but can confirm that you won't be left wanting for side grip even during very aggresive riding.
