Hi all,

I'm brand new to the site but already very impressed.

My TP Sensors have failed resulting in the yellow warning light showing. I've been told they're about £80 each wheel to replace through BMW and was wondering if anyone knows if I can get them cheaper anywhere else.

How old are they?

You might get them changed foc even if they are out of warranty.

I think a BMW dealer has to fit them as they have to be coded to your bike with BMW only software.At least that is what I was told.I just got the dealer to disable them as I personally feel they are an unnessasary complication and just one more thing to go wrong.

Thankyou all for your replies, dont fancy the repair just in case I Fubar the valve but may try to get an old one and give it a bash. Lenny, I didn't realise that they can be disabled, does this get rid of the warning light and is it do able myself. Cheers all.

Its a 08 plate Beemerman, don't think BMW will replace FOC but do have a very good raport with Darren at Vines Dorking so will speak to him. Thanks mate.

You can't disable the TPS yourself,not even with a GS911 but Vines in caterham disabled mine.
