Hmmm . . It looks more like 106mph on that diagram to me. Or am I reading it wrong ?
I think BMW claim that the top speed of a 100GS is 115mph (
) Wouldn't want to try it on mine.Claimed top speed of an 1150GS is 119mph.

thanks for that I think my speedo my be wonky as the needle flicks from side to side as you speed up.

They all do that
(Unless you buy a brand new one for about £170 . . Don't know how long they last before they start waving about though).
Mine packed up completely at 51,600 miles. It used to wave about then it suddenly went right round the dial and the needle snapped off on the stop. I wasn't doing more than 55mph at the time
.I was quoted "about £80" to have the old one repaired - but it could take 8 weeks, so I bought a new one.
