Tyre to Garmin

With the hope that there is never a stupid question and only a stupid answer..........

Dowloaded tyre after no joy loading mapsource.

Plotting routes and saved as Garmin format.

Plug in 2620 and all seems hunky dorey.

Try to save to Garmin and "Your Garmin cannot be found. Make sure it is properly attached to you computer and try again".

Anyone out there who has solved this connundrum

My mate had the same problem, i.e. TYRE did not recognise the 2620. Seems TYRE does not see it as a harddrive , different kind of memory inbuilt. He did have to persevere with Mapsource....

TYRE will only work with later Garmins I'm afraid, those that can be viewed as an external drive such as Nuvi and Zumo.

What problems are you having loading Mapsource? Do you mean that you have issues installing it, the mapping or just using it

I had the same issue with my Garmin 390LM but then I found the following video that shows how to change the MTP settings after making the change TYRE now works OK with my device.
