Ok it's getting close to rear tyre replacement time.

Quite happy with the tourance as I don't do off road.

Has anyone found anything else that suits road use ?

where's the best place to take it. I am in essex m25 J26

I fancy ride in ride out. My days of changing tyres are over.

I've now got Pirelli Scorpions on mine and i'm very pleased.

Teckmotive in Welham Green is not to far from you between Potters bar and Hatfield.

01707 265000 ride in ride out

front and rear ?

are they more like a road tyre ?

do you have them front and rear ?

should i mix a tourance front with a scorpion back ?

yes yes i know questions questions.

I think I have perfected the rolling burn on the gs.

2nd gear (too juddery in 1st), get your weight far forward by standing on the pegs and lean on the tank, 4k revs and slip the clutch while applying pressure on the front brake (oh yes and don't forget to turn off the abs)

for a while I ran a tourance front and a scorpion on the rear and it felt fine.

The profile of the scorpions seems to role well into a bend and I also reckon the last well and kept there shape with only a slight flat after all thoughs motorway miles across France and Spain.

If your just after a rear Teckmotive should have one in stock as I thought mine would be shagged by now and it's not and there still holding one for me.

And yes there road biased.

2nd gear.....I've done it with my feet on the ground but standing on the pegs though!!!!.....maybe I'll have few drinks first

I was at the NEC on Monday and ordered a pair of TKC 80's from the Buster stand. £100 for the pair including delivery :)

My local dealer will fit them for a few quid and if anyone can corner significantly quicker than I can, I'll call them Mr Rossi :D I've been very impressed with the grip (wet or dry) from TKC's. They just don't last very long with about 3.5k from the rear and 7k from the front. I've always been able to get two rears to one front. At £100 a pair though, I dont care if they don't last long. 6k is my annual mileage these days. I'll fit them after xmas and will probably kill them off at the TT.
