Have read some of the other posting about tyres

So here is my question - my rear tyre is coming to the end of it legal use, and i am wondering what i should replace it with, currently fitted are bridgestone trailwings, which i have found out are crap off of anything other than a dirt track, (having recently done the greenlanes and tracks on the Quantock hills :D ) what i want is something a little more substantial but not as knobbly as the TKC80's, have also read a few bad reports on the tourances on other websites, so what should i get ?

Also anyone know of a good dealer/fitter in the Taunton or somerset area that will take the wheels off and do the fitting etc

thanks :thumb

Hi,

I've got Michelin Anakees on mine as these were supplied from new. We've just done over 3,500 miles around France and Spain on them in all types of weather with no problems whatsoever and I'll probably fit them again when they've worn out? I've only had the GS for 6 weeks now so am a bit of a virgin on this and I'm sure they'll be others along who'll tell you differently but , each to their own eh! :D

For tyres I can highly recommend:- :thumb

P H Autos, Cornishway North, Galmington Trading Estate, Taunton TA1 5LY Tel: 01823 288228

It's owned by a biker who knows what he's doing and they will beat most others on price - I've never bought cheaper elsewhere.. I am not sure if they take wheels off but if you need help with this I can give you a hand if you like. I only live about 8 miles outside Taunton and am free most days! :)
