Looking to get myself a pair of Conti Trail Attacks fitted during a Scottish tour....any dealer recommendations in the Fort William area?

No.

National have started doing bike tyres in the fort but I wouldnt use them.
If its a tour you could do worse than Strathearn Tyres, Crieff. Nice road around Lochearnhead to scrub them in.

Or fit new tyres before setting of :nenau

Tyres

My Old Man lives in Fort William, his K1100 needed new tyres recently, he used Stoddarts in Oban, seemed very happy with them, probably the closest bike shop. Inverness would be the other option, but I have no specific info there.

:thumb2 Used them a couple of years ago on tour when I needed a new rear on my K1200S - cheap prices (at the time) and quick service :thumb2

A quick PS to the above....Stoddart's wanted £295 fitted for a pair of Trail Attacks, local bikeshop here said £220. So does anyone want a pair of squared off but still legal Annakees....with just enough tread to get you to Bonny Scotland? I won't be needing them! (What do BMW main dealers charge, I wonder?):flag

Strathearn Tyres in Crieff is your best bet. Just had a pair of Tourances fitted £190 I think. If you've got wires, stay clear of Stoddarts, they can't balance them and there's no where else in Oban.
