tyres

Do a search - there are tons of threads on that very same question.

And - they will cough up as many opinions as this thread might - if it grows........ :blast

If you don't ride off road Dunlop Roadsmarts are great. I have had them on for the last two summers. This year I have put on Michelin Anakee 3. I have not put enough miles on them to recommend them but so far I am very pleased with them.

Both the Dunlops and The Michelins are black and round as suggested by Autogs.

Trail Attacks are now down in price as the new Trail Attack 2 is launched

I just paid £155 for a pair from my local KTM dealer :thumby:

One mans best tyre is another mans least preferred.

I prefer black round ones that grip well enough, last a long time, and don't cost a fortune. (Old style Tourances at £155 a pair).

Dunlop TR91's, stick like shit to a blanket wet or dry, not cheap and others will last longer. Shop around and you will get a pair that wont break the bank.

glad to be of help, btw my black ones are pr3,the absolute dogs danglies, the best there is imo:beerjug:

looking for new tyres this year ???? eny ideas ????:nenau

How's the hunt going?

I am sure that by now you too have been left open mouthed, gaping in awe (that's awe as in 'awesome') by GedJack's recommendation of Dunlop Roadsmart 2's. I know I was.

I had Maxxis big trail tyres. Nothing to shout about and back wore a bit quick for my liking. However front is doing ok so now fitted a SuperMax touring to the back as I dont go plan to go off road any time soon and had good life/grip when they were on my previous bike and minimal squaring off.

So far the middle looks untouched & the sides are marbling so I guess they are dual compound. Sadly they dont do them in 19" but my trail style front is keeping up fine. :)
