Brief overview: waterproof well made slim and lightweight unit from Interphone, IP67 rated, Mesh 2.0 enabled and has conventional Bluetooth comms for up to 4 riders in a group. Good phone app which helps with set up. Paired to my Navi 6 which already has my phone paired to it, so seamless integration of phone to intercom when on the move and off the bike with helmet on to around 10m from the bike.

Intercom is very clear with good volume to 60mph (not even at loudest setting) and works at M/way speeds flawlessly between riders. One touch mesh means easy open mesh use or easy to pick a channel and have riders join a closed group. Easy to install on my shark lid which accomodates the battery pack in a compartment at the back and has the optional battery holder for external mounting. Antenna is coupled to the main unit as a flip up device similar to some sena systems. Uses sena derived circuits so pairs instantly with all sena units. Tried it with a mate using a 10u, connected with one touch pairing and comms were excellent to over half a mile or more (claimed 1600m range but that depends on what it's connected to). You just tap the comms button to end the chat to save battery but incoming comes gives an audible chirp so you can accept or reject. Automatically pairs after first paring with a brief touch of the comms button, so all in all couldn't be easier. Phone calls easy to receive using VOX or by tapping a button or can be made using vox or by using the Nav 6 to pull up your phone list. Very clear sound at both ends. No need to bond to the helmet as it has a handy clipped housing. Has to be charged on the helmet as the unit is hard wired

FM radio is pants like most of them. More intuitive and easier to use than Sena systems imho and better made. Wired mic very good indeed and bettered even the boom mic on a cardo unit I tried.

Exceptionally good intercom for the money (now it's discounted) which imho betters sena. It'll be interesting to compare it with the SRL Mesh unit bought for my other helmet

Battery life is pretty good too. MESH2 seems to drain the battery in about 8 hours (plenty for an average day in the saddle), but without MESH enabled it seems to last ages, just listening to GPS, music and phone...

Looks like the user instructions are almost identical for the Sena SRL mesh for the functions which is handy!

Me and a pal have a pair of these that replace our old Cardo Q1's.

We were eager to try the mesh as everyone says it's the bees knees. But we haven't found it to be very good.

Bluetooth seems to be far better range.

Are we doing something wrong? I notice there is open and closed mesh modes etc.

I do find Bluetooth intercom better for 2 riders. Mesh works best in a group....
Have you made sure you have latest software? If not, try upgrade (laptop app iirc)
BT intercom and Mesh have different pros and cons.
One key feature of Mesh (other than group Comms) is that it re-heals better.... If you do get out of range for any length of time it will re-heal when you get back in range

O.K. cheers for that.

The Bluetooth works for us pretty good. Just one press when we turn the units on, then a small delay while they connect. Then self heals pretty good when back in range so all good on that side.

Just heard a lot about the mesh was all.
