Hi All,

Sure this will be a simple fix:

Just been away on AL at work but have come back to find that when you log into UKGSER without ticking the remember me box, you stay logged in even after closing the browser.

Can this (cookies?) be disabled? I know all i need to do is log out, but is nice to know i can just close the page when we get a job and not worry.

Don't know how to fix this, but it does happen on my Mac. I'd be interested
to know if it can be changed.

Thanks for that,

I went into Temp & then the cookies folder but that showed as empty except for the index.

I did go into internet options yesterday and delete cookies. But when i signed into UKGSER again and then closed the window it still kept me signed in.

Anything obvious i'm missing

:nenau

Thanks as always :thumb2

Then set your options to NOT accept cookies, or if you use a better bit of software, set your browser to specifically reject cookies from this site.

Firefox will do this (it may be a plugin though....can't remember TBH) quite easily.
:blast :nono if you do that you'll never be able to post here, it will keep asking you to log in every time you click the post button.

But when i signed into UKGSER again and then closed the window it still kept me signed in.
It's a 900 second cookie, in other words if you open the browser within 15 minutes of closing it it will log you straight back in ;)

OK Paul, thanks for that. But it was still keeping me logged in the next day when i came back in even with a fresh browser page. None to worry shall just have log out each time.

I wondered how it worked....;)
