Just arrived at Pension Williams in the Black Forest, Germany, when three other GS's pulled up at the parking spot. I recognised two of them when they took off their helmets as Kevin and his partner Mida from the Irish section
.
Seemed they were there to sample the great B500 through the Black Forest too. I'd met them both at the famous Nomad camp out earlier this year and found them to be good company and hard core travellers. It was great to see 'em again. Just shows, UKGSers get around plenty. Incidentally, anyone heading down that way, check out Pension Williams. English owned and biker friendly, David and his wife are really helpful. Even took us to the restaurant for free and arranged a free return with the restauranteur. Nice
We left the next day for Livigno and the Stelvio, via the Fluella Pass. A really good ride. The start of our days ride was the B500 race track, whoops I mean road, well worth the trip on its' own. Got some serious riding under our belts and achieved a lot on the trip. Even got to collect some knee braces from Michel, (Migsel) in Belgium, and what a nice guy he is!.
