Just arrived at Pension Williams in the Black Forest, Germany, when three other GS's pulled up at the parking spot. I recognised two of them when they took off their helmets as Kevin and his partner Mida from the Irish section:aidan.
Seemed they were there to sample the great B500 through the Black Forest too. I'd met them both at the famous Nomad camp out earlier this year and found them to be good company and hard core travellers. It was great to see 'em again. Just shows, UKGSers get around plenty. Incidentally, anyone heading down that way, check out Pension Williams. English owned and biker friendly, David and his wife are really helpful. Even took us to the restaurant for free and arranged a free return with the restauranteur. Nice:beer:
We left the next day for Livigno and the Stelvio, via the Fluella Pass. A really good ride. The start of our days ride was the B500 race track, whoops I mean road, well worth the trip on its' own. Got some serious riding under our belts and achieved a lot on the trip. Even got to collect some knee braces from Michel, (Migsel) in Belgium, and what a nice guy he is!.

I bet you had a hang over the next day

I did,Kev and Mide are diamond people, and down the pub in dublin i couldnt keep up.
TBH i cant wait to tee up again.
Kevs mate Brian is already checking out bits for us lot to do next year!

Paul, the clue's in the thread. With some serious riding to do the next day, alcohol intake was severely limited 'cos when I wanna ride I don't want to feel crap. Kev's mate was a no show for breakfast next morning and his wife said he was bad all night. Schnaps-uenza I think it was called!!. Anyway, as you know, he and Mida are great people and it was a pleasure, and a surprise to meet up with them out there. BTW, your absence has been noted at the monthly meets, what's happened?

Well its like this

weve just done a large tour of italy, and just completed a lap of ireland, and unfortunetely i didnt have the time or spare cash to attend.
I will be back, baby..
