have 05 1200gs with std seat, thinking about trying gsa seat as the profile apears to be a lot flatter. wonderd if any one out there has done this before? or could loan me a one for a couple of hours before I shell out three hundred and odd quid.

Get yours re-shaped,fitted with memory foam or gel pads and recovered, Google Tony Archer of Huddersfield, upholsterer extraordinaire and reasonably priced too :thumb2

A decent seat reshaper should cost around £100 - you could blow the rest of your £300 budget on Hemorrhoid Cream and beer :thumb

try putnams.co.uk and look for stadium seat. I used to have a*rse ache after half hour and I bought a stadium seat, now I can go out about 2 hrs before a*se ache kicks in.

they were £7.50 (ish) each and cheaper than a seat.......

I have a 2008 GSA and prefer the standard GS seat which I have fitted :thumb2

I'm based in Derbyshire - your welcome to try my GSA seat anytime

Standard seat is crap, did my arse in after 100km. Cheap solution is an Airhawk. Fantastic things.

give tony archer a ring he may do it for you whilst you wait depends if he's really busy knows what customers want nice ride down and a super ride back up
