Here's a sample of what I'm after, and also a sample of what will be on unchainedworld if more folk follow the example of hondarider:
This is a great idea. I'm trying to compile a mental list of noteworthy places in my area.
The "Miss Adams Diner" on Park St. (Rt. 8) in Adams, MA offers a dozen different burgers and a mountain of sweet potatoe fries in the classic Rail Car Diner format.
From what I hear, Bob's Country Kitchen on Rt.7 in Lanesboro, MA offers the best strawberry shortcake in the county...foot long hot dogs are pretty good too.
The North Coast Brewing Company on 455 North Main Street in Fort Bragg CA makes the best New England Clam Chowder I've ever tasted.
The State Line in El Paso, Texas on the New Mexico/Texas line offers Cajun shrimp and all you can eat ribs.
The Great American Land and Cattle Company on I10 in East Texas...2 miles from the New Mexico border...on the westbound frontage road...offers 32 oz T-Bone steak, with special seasonings, green chile peppers, mushrooms sauteed in olive oil, beans, corn bread, and GIANT shrimp cocktails...easily my favorite restaurant in the country...if I could only have one more meal before I die, that would be the one
