Can anyone point me in the right direction of what is the best paint (black) to use on the side/centre stand and other metal bits underneath?
Thanks

Thanks

Powdercoat it.

If its for an 1100 then you HAVE to use this ( http://shop.kremerpigments.com/en/pigments/tyrian-purple-36010:.html ) nothing else is suitable for the king of motorcycles, if its for anything else, who the feck cares!!!

As above,powder coat it,
Any painted finish will not last ,by the time you have prepped ,primed and painted ,added the cost of materials,it will not be any cheaper to paint it yourself.

100% That was my route nothing much else survives the gravel![]()
Powder coat won't survive long either. Additionally once it starts to fail water and salt get under the coating and rust propagates unseen. You end up with rust weakened metal below a reasonable looking layer of plastic until you look closely.
I'll be painting mine and repeat as required.

OK, in your climate I wont argue, its sitting at 30C here at the moment, it will peak at 33C and we have not had any real rain since May, rust is not our enemy...![]()

Do you have guest rooms?![]()
