Unmarked fast pursuit Plod car based in Harwich?

For the last week, I've been seeing a grey/silver coloured Mondeo ( I think) with a 2 foot led bar on the top*, cruising in and out of Harwich

Today, I had to spend a couple of hours sat on the side of the A120 near Wix and I say it come blazing out from Harwich heading towards Colchester, with sirens on and the LED strip flashing blues......there wasn't anything obvious before him that he was chasing, but in 90 minutes, he did the same thing three times, always coming away from Harwich with blues 'n twos on, then coming back in along the road with them off.

No idea what it's about, but keep your eyes open



*first couple of weeks I thought it was a doctor's car with the led bar going to light up green.....it looks odd

The twat who drives the plain clothes Ford Focus in Sheffield was goading me a few weeks back, I recognised him from the telly luckily. He was sat very close to my number plate on a number of occasions, and must have been exceeding the speed limit by a fair bit over the 4 miles, very dangerous.

Could be, no idea tbh.

They were always going AWAY from Harwich at speed with lights and sirens, then coming back in stealth mode, so yes, could easily have been picking up vehicles after they left the port.

There didnt seem to be much time though....they came back half an hour or so after I saw them go out, so unless they were stopping someone for a check, then coming back, wouldnt have thought that they were achieving much else

You sure about that one ?

Only white ones they normally use as unmarked are advanced driver training school cars which generally dont work weekends unless its a special course.

Their unmarked traffic cars are all dark colours and Ford at the moment ...............the bike is a dark coloured FJR
