Up and back risers ??

Are they worth installing ? Are they worth the money ?

For Me , Yes ! I have the wunderlich up and back. I,m 6'2 and find I can sit a bit more upright when sitting , and they are pretty good for me when standing.

How uncomfortable is it riding your £14k plus bike?

Would it be more comfortable spunking another £100 at it making it more/less comfortable?

I also have the Wunderlich up & back.
Together with the Touratech seat & Wunderlich 3D ergo vario deflector, it is one of the comfiest bikes i´ve ever owned (i am also around 6`2).
600km+ days = no problem A

6' 4" with Rox risers. Originally found myself hunched over the bars. Now able to sit more upright which combined with a Puig Touring screen means effortless riding.

I have 50mm up and back risers with a low seat and they took away all the shoulder strain I used to get (for some reason). I'm 6' but long in the back so a "simulated" 6' 2" ish.

depends if your comfy? i always found my shoulders / neck stiff toward the end of a long day ride and just adding 20mm TT risers has stopped that.

Maybe mine are 20mm and 20mm as yours are! Anyway, they definitely help me.

Risers

I have used them before on other Gs 1200s but always found that over a long run the pressure on my bum from the more upright position caused discomfort and sold them on.
The standard slightly forward position reduces the pressure as you lean a bit forward. Only my opinion , but if you have a problem with yer bum try a Sargent seat ,...Brilliant.

Have recently fitted the Wunderlich bar back risers to my GSA to make my seat more comfortable??

The effect of the bars being set more rearward has allowed my shoulders to move back which has rolled my seating position more onto my buttocks and less on my crotch, which I find more comfortable, so yes, definitely better for me with the bar-backs on the GSA.

I fitted them to my first LC GS in 2013, and have the same ones on my current GSA. I've got used to them, but am tempted to take them off for a day, and see what difference not having them makes.

+1 for the wunderlich up and back on a gs ,not stretching forward so much, i ride with the seat in high position and have a gsa lc screen to compensate, very comfy at 5ft 11

Fine tuning can be achieved by rotating the bars in the clamps to find the perfect position for you.

Ditto ( same height and seat), got the Wunderlich up and back no pain in the left elbow.
