Hi all, just a quikie.

I'm sulking due to Carol Nash wanting a £15 admin charge on a £25 green card policy. :blast

So has anyone recently bought a weeks cover in Ceuta and if so what is the going rate please. A search has pulled up lots of old posts or poeple buying a months ins etc.

Mucho grassyarse :beerjug:

I guess it's down to who CN are using

I might ring again tomorrow and see if I get a better result otherwise i'll have to hope the friendly Morocco people can do it :D

Who does CN insure you with Mike?
I think they charged me about double that for the two weeks, but I'll need to extend it anyway.

Ime with Zenith.
I belive it is down to who ever they place/you go with,as i changed this year for a cheaper quote, same deal just cheaper.:D

We just got 5 days cover for 450 dirham ( £34 ) they have cover for 5 days, 10 days or 1 month.

Very easy to sort, and cash machine right by the insurance office.

Devil, which port was that - Tanger Med?

Going in a couple of weeks but not sure which entry port to use.

Thanks

We used the Ceuta crossing, was quiet an eye opener, talk about organized chaos. Parked bike just inside the shed and get mobbed by fixers, be nice, and tell them your doing it yourself, go to immigration ( about 20 meters passed the shed, on the right, portacabin. look for the queue) hand in you passport and the form, acquire one from a fixer, they are nice. I did not find one on the boat. Get your stamp and number.

Go to the other side (left by the end of the shed) and do you bike paperwork, we downloaded the form before we left the uk, all they asked for was the logbook.

It took us about 1 hour to clear, and I will say, that the fixers seem to clear people quicker, as they always push to the front of the queue.

Once you cross the last board guard and metal fence, you will see the insurance office on the right. Again a portacabin. The guy speaks English.

I loved the hole experience, my mate hated it, and complained the hold time. :comfort

Thanks to all who replied. I'll be getting ten days and that will cover our trip.

Leaving on sunday :bounce1:bounce1:bounce1

Jon :D
