Update on PR4's in the North West

The two I ordered from MYTyres (on line) @ £190 for the pair including postage, arrived as promised and were today fitted to my wheels by Rossendale Vulcanising, Rawtenstall. Well worth the extra £10 per wheel to be served by staff who were helpful and competent while I waited. 01706 220236

Did you take the bike or just the wheels?

Good tyres. I bought mine from Oponeo for £177 and then had them fitted by my local Motorrad dealer for about £60-70 I think. A lot for fitting but I didn't want to take the risk with the rims.

PR4 are a joy to fit, I do mine myself with just a couple of levers and rim savers to protect the rim.

Did you take the bike or just the wheels?

Wheels only. I'm told a dealer requires to be specially insured to remove and refit motor cycle wheels. There would also be a greater risk of damage if I let someone remove and refit my wheels.

I went over to continental attack 2's today not tried them yet, had anakees from new, alright tyres okayish milage but loud,went to pr4s good round the nurburgring "video on you tube " but got less than 3.5k from the rear :-( front like new..? good tyre's but not happy with how quick the rear died, the visorshop I think they were called part of cossan bikes did a good deal on my pr4s and delivered them in 24hrs
