I decided a while ago that having 10k's worth of bike sitting in the garage doing nothing for 6 months of the year was breaking my heart so decided to advertise it.

Some clown has offered me 8k. I said yes He replied straight away, asking how i want paying, can he collect tomorrow, I replied Ahh, not really!

Did you really expect me to drop 2k off the asking price? cnut...

A seemingly genuine chap has asked me some questions about the bike, He has a 1998 Road King EVO. I have said I could be interested in P/X (to release some cash from mine).

I could live with having a 5k Harley in the garage assuming thats what its worth....

Are they that different?

What do you think?

1998 was Harley's 95th year so they did a lot of bikes in the maroon/goldish colour scheme which IMO doesn't make them worth anymore that a standard coloured 98my bike and of course they had the 1340 motor which will make it feel a fair bit different to yours

If he values his RK at £5000 then I will buy it from him so he can buy yours but he won't so I won't

if the mileage is good a 98 RK in good condition is worth 7k of anybodies money!!.... 5k would be robbery......
