Upper crash protectio bars

Has anyone fittied the TT upper protection bars to the standard bmw fityied lowe bars.
I looking for a bit more protection higher up but feel that the TT bars will give way under a topple were they join each other. The Adventure spec seem a better option and both around the same price. Looking to fit them to my f700gs, any comments or other options would intrested to recive feedback.

I have them on mine, fitted to the BMW lowers, they fit fine and seem sturdy enough

I have a pair on back order for my GSA you pay a premium for TT but I think its worth it

Upper bars

Spoke to TT, they told me that they are on back order but cant say when they will be back in they are going to call me when in.

I havent paid, but i will be surprised if they do ring, but lets wait and see.

I have the SW Motech bars on my F700 and they have worked extremely well when the driver in the garage next door to mine reversed into my bike and knocked it over then decided to drive off. They protect the upper plastics very well.
