I'm a filmmaker filming the Relentless Suzuki superbike team from Northern Ireland this season (both BSB and road racing) and we're headed to the Isle of Man to shoot a TT recce this weekend (leaving this evening, hope to be filming Thursday through Saturday, March 18-20, 2010).

Unfortunately, plans to get my mate to IOM with his big GS with whom I usually do this kind of work fell through because of a lack of transport options. Relentless Suzuki are attempting to make alternative arrangements for me but none have been confirmed (they are, of course, busy worrying about other stuff and who can blame them?!), and I'm worried someone will turn up with a sport bike... and that won't work for me.

I am in need of some assistance from a safe, generous soul who might already have a GS or something largish with good pillion seat on the IOM right now who might be interested in spending part of a day (probably Friday) helping me film one of the racers riding the TT course (not race speed, mind you).

I need to film on the road alongside racer Cameron Donald, and my needs are specific to the point that it needs to be a good pillion seat, I'd like there to be a top box (no panniers, but pannier frames are a help), and you don't mind a very quiet pillion passenger arsing around a bit trying to get the right shots...

As for the nature of the project (there have been questions from other fora about who do I think I am and what exactly do I think I'm doing...), I have been commissioned by TAS Racing and Relentless, and my work is to be posted on the TAS Racing and Relentless websites, and is strictly about the riders in the TAS team. This bit of filming I am doing this week is part of one piece about the road racing side of TAS which will include TT and the NW 200.

If you are in IOM, have said bike and are interested, it should be good fun!

I think I saw you lot down by the Creg around 10. Sounds like you had a good set of filming ... can't wait to see it.
