Urgent warning for horse owners

There are horse thieves operating in the Cleveland / North Yorkshire area. We recieved a warning yesterday of pikey types walking fields with horses in taking pictures of said animals. They were spotted at a friend of ours and on inspection of her boundaries a fence had been "modified" to allow trailer access
They have also been spotted around the whitby area and the police have been notified, not sure if there doing anything though.

At the moment same warning goes for your four wheel drives, horse tack, quads, horse trailers and wagons , diesel, central heating oil plus anything else that the NEEDY TRAVELLING FOLK may take a liking to !

if its not nailed down it will walk. the diesal bowser on site has been done twice in the past two weeks also electic cable stolen and yes we have security ?????????? but there again we are working in BLYTH not that iam knocking blyth it is just like everywhere else you go there is a few scroats out there

While hanging the horses used to solve the problem it became problematic when farming labour was required.
