Oh no they haven't. I agree with them, I'm fine going West but coming home knocks me out. You're just weird, Steve.......![]()
Me and everyone else who works for the same large Global corporation then - our guys from the US say the same when they fly to meetings in Shanghai i.e. they struggle flying east but are OK flying west back home
The only time I've found flying west tolerable was when I left Guangzhou at midnight last October, managed to get a few hours kip early on in the flight as I was really tired (I rarely sleep on a plane, even back in the pre-recession days when we could fly Business Class in fold flat seats) and arrived home at 9.25am via Schipol and Leeds Bradford airports. Three or four hours in bed and I wasn't too bad after that. Normally I suffer for three or four days when leaving Shanghai mid-morning and arriving home early evening via Heathrow.
