USA Maps

I am travelling to Los Angeles intending to drive up to San Francisco in September and after looking on here have decided to buy the US maps for my Zumo 550 when I get there to help navigate around. Question for any of our US cousins is where is the best place to get them and would it be possible to buy the CD version and then get the shop to load onto an SD card for me rather than just buying the SD card version? Any ideas/suggestions gratefully received - I am getting the zumo for my birthday only a week before we leave so have a lot to learn in a very short period!

Unless you find an answer... (it would be a cozy shop that would do that for you I'd think and not the cheapest, but NA maps are pretty cheap anyways)...

You may want to drop a post on ADVRider forums...

I'd bet you'd find someone willing to meet you with a laptop and do the deed...
