USB hates iPods

Hmm, my home computer has decided not to recognise my two iPod shuffles vian any of the USB ports. I've reloaded iTunes and it makes no difference.

Any ideas IT gurus ???

My 2610 still connects up okay though

Had the same problem with my shuffle just after xmas. Turned out to be faulty ipod shuffle and its a common fault.

Just one of the iPods not working and I'd think it was that but two (old style & new style) both going at exactly the same time leads me to doubt that option. Checked the digi camera and it won't recognise that either

Sometimes it is as simple as a faulty usb lead - have you got another one to try?

All four items use different cables to connect and I've tried using all the different usb ports.
