£4.99 from BP garages, fits quite nicely next to a small socket set.

You'll never be able to read the gauge when the Tank's back on..:D

CC

Your Garage got anymore?..........mine ran out.......:(

the space is where the abs pump would be.

Ihave bored a hole right through my tank to view the gauge.

CC. bought in from garage down the borders, but i would assume most BP stations would have them.

Not for routine use but fine for emergencies............. or airbeds

only kidding about the hole.......... the petrol would fall out

but what about if i've got ABS ??

if i was american i'd sue you for not thinking of all the possibilities and discriminating against me.

......and i've just cut a hole in my tank as well :(

Phil

I've got one of those pumps.. But

You take the tank off to pump up a tyre?

Not for me... I'm a Baglux type of guy;)

I did state that it was for emergencies.
I had to find something to fill that large space as I was working out how much cocaine I could smuggle in there.

That is an almost standard modification these days for any serious person travelling outback and who doesn't have ABS fitted.

Very, very, good idea!

If I didn't have ABS I would have fitted this kind of pump years ago.

Wouldnt it be possible to have it left in place with a switched power supply, and an extension for the air line ?

Finished installation. Mounted in structural foam (british gas kneeling pad) . This pump has a myriad of uses, 2 small pipes are led into induction tubes for supercharging effect when switched on. When connected to the air suspension, apon encountering a large rock on the trail or colonial roads, a push of the button raises the bike to the appropriate height to effortlessly traverse the obstacle. After fitting the optional hd device, one can blowdry ones hair to look presentable at a club camping event.
When ants invade your steed, they can be blown off harmlessly off without encountering angry insects in hand to hand conflict.

It can also be used to blow up tyres
