I tend to use my wife's account as it's normally on and I can't be bothered to logout

Went to logon onto my user name, which has always been the main user, but my password is not accepted even though I know the password is correct :(

Is there anything I can do to access the account :nenau

Depends on OS - is it Windows or Mac ?
If it's Windows then pretty easy - Google Lost Password for Windows (version) and you will get a load of responses, usually you get a file to down load, burn it to a CD and then boot from the CD - the instructions will be on the corresponding Google page.

This obviously is reliant on you still being able to log in using your wife's details and get onto the t'internet.

I think Windows will 'let you in' in safe mode and then you can alter user / password settings.

Assuming this a PC.
If your wife's account is an administrator account use her account to reset your password.

If it's XP or Vista

Click on the "Start" button and open the "Run" prompt.
Type "control userpasswords2" without the quotations.
Click the "OK" button.
Select the user from the list that you want to reset the password for.
Click "Reset Password."
Type the new password for the user in the "New Password" box.
Type it again for confirmation, and then click "OK."

Enjoy :)
