Using a bike lift

I have a bike lift, the type with two rubber-covered flat platforms that jacks up hydraulically.
Can I use this safely to lift my 1150GS either under the stone guard or with that removed.

I would appreciate advice on this, thanks.

I use the flat base under the stone guard to jack my 1150 GSA up so that should be safe enough. As far as the lift is concerned I'd check the wet weight of your bike vs. the capability of the lift
