The drug dealing has just about declined to nearly bugger all in Cromer nowdays :augie

And Hawg Haven is well worth a look if you like that sort of thing .....get John, the owner, talking and it could be a long visit :thumb

The coast road from Hunstanton to Cromer is crap nowdays as its all 30,40 and 50 limits now crawling with tourist traffic but there are alternative fast routes i use where traffic is lighter and 3 figure speeds are easily attainable ;)

They are tourist traffic, doofus! :D

Perhaps they wanna do 30, 40 and 50 mph, y'know, have a look around...:P

Nose to tail traffic bimbling at 36.8 mph is not my idea of fun when an empty twisty GLF Road is also available nearby :)

We're staying in Ipswich on Friday. Then, Sat.a.m. out to Aldeburgh,Southwold,Lowestoft,Gt.Yarmouth then either the little coast roads or the A149 to Cromer and, depending on time/weather,follow the coast 'round to Kings Lynn or head down the A's 148,1065,134 if they're good roads. If anyone can show us some great roads/veiws/platefuls of greasy scoff/good motorbike shops that would be much appreciated.
Post on here and we can arrange to meet up. Aldeburgh,Southwold, wherever.
Staying in Skeggy on Saturday. Another right job finding somewhere to kip. Apparently, all the hotels are booked solid with Young Farmers. Typical......get away from the 'dale for the weekend and the town's full of Young Shitkickers from up the same 'dale.

Bigyin, with a name like Bigyin you were always going to get that.Yes it's the Commando Memorial. We were just on our way to G.C's pub in Fort William for some hot soup. It was last October and feckin' cold up there.

Here's another from last year. Isle of Whithorn in June. Bloody fantastic roads around South West Scotland.:D Stayed at the Downshire Arms in Portpatrick. Recommended:thumb2

I recognised it as i also used to train near that area with the Paras back when i was a yoof of 18 and had seen the monument up close before. Digging 3 man slit trenches in the solid mountain landscape around there in January was an art in itself ;)

Thats why the marines use Norway now :D

As argee said, will keep a look out for your visit to save you bimbling along the slow coast road :thumb

The Coast Road A149 is closed fro resurfacing between Stiffkey and Wells-Next-The-Sea. If you want to do the coast road from Cromer to Hunstanton (and then down to Kings Lynn) You would be better following the A148 from Comer to Fakenham, then following the signs to Wells (off the Fakenham Bypass). There is a Shell petrol station at the end of the Fakenham Bypass.

If you want a good burger and a proper mug of tea, then my mate has a burger van on the A148 South of Sheringham called PECKish (approx 4 miles from Cromer). All his burgers and sausages are from a butchers, and his bread rolls are fresh from the bakery every morning.

4 miles from Cromer? sounds like a drug dealer to me.

"wanna score some 'furters,homeboy?"
"no,thanks,can I have a B.E.S.T please"
"sho'nuff,line o' red or line o' brown?"
"brown please"
"50 cent"
"no way sucka, Snoops da man" :cool

Quite looking forward to East Anglia:)

On Saturday the 20th I think we'll probably be leaving the hotel in Ipswich around 10-ish and heading for the coast. So, if anyone is out and about and wants to meet up,maybe Southwold would be a good place, the car parking near the pier about 11 o'clock? I guess there will be a cafe close by.
Either leave a post on here or give me a call on 07961 406 524 on Friday evening or 1st thing Saturday.:thumb2 Cheers,Dave.

There's two cafes on the Pier. Good choice.

We're going to be at Dunwich beach cafe for fish and chips around one-ish. already arranged but might get to see you in S'wold for a brew. Dunwich is only about 20 mins away from Southwold but nice lanes to explore round there..

I'll meet you in Southwold at 11 and take you on to LRI for a fry-up if thats OK? Should be able to tag along for a bit after that too, although I am dog and baby sitting for my sister (Niece is 12 going on 18, and has informed me she'll be, "like, totally out out with her friends all day" tho)and the managements on a course in Ipswich Saturday, so might not be able to play all day.
