No heat shields so removing the lovely bronze ribbons will make her just too hot to handle. I may have to junk the whole exhaust as it's an all in one and start again with something quieter. :)

It's got mounts for shields though by the looks of it?

At least, in the short term, get rid of the 'bib' on the silencer............

PPS Here's a little story to cheer your leaden heart, taken from today's BBC news website:

A litter of piglets whose bacon was saved from a barn fire has been served up as dinner to the firefighters who rescued them.
The 18 piglets and two sows survived the fire in Wiltshire in February, which saw 60 tonnes of hay catch fire.
In a controversial move, farm manager Rachel Rivers thanked the Pewsey fire team by giving them sausages.
She said: "I'm sure vegetarians will hate this." The firefighters however said the bangers were "fantastic".
 
I read that story and was absolutely horrified. Poor little piggies.
