Valve/head cover

Having damaged mine, only cosmetic not "terminal", how much is a new magnesium RHS valve/head cover?
And where's best to get one if I decide to splash out the no doubt wads and wads of cash required?

I Think you'll find that the standard silver ones are around £65 with the blue anodised at £78.00 from any BM dealer

Flanders, I've got a couple on the way that just need a blow over with some paint to make them good as new. I'll swap them with you if you want, cos I only want patterns from the fixings. Don't buy any untill you've seen these, give me a bell after the weekend

give Yellow Pages a try, there will be plenty of firms doing it. I got some bits done on my bike during the rebuild - the headlamp/oil cooler guard cost £15, as an example....

They are listed under Blast Cleaning, and if you turn up in person, they do jobs for cash.

If you have a hunt around, you will find that there are lots of places that do blast cleaning and coatings.

If you want to replace rather than powder coat, Motor Works do them for £47 new.

Another good midlands powder coater is Redditch Shotblasting. Do a lot of bike stuff, good price especially if you pay cash!
