Vario cases lock set

Is the lock set the same as previous generation hex head in the way you recode with the little wafers or do you have to buy a lock set from bmw for your bike.?

The varios are the same idea, possibly the same locks,
I did mine recently , shuffling the wafers,
The Adventure aluminium ones appear to be different

Anybody advise me
, if I am picking a set of these up will they be secure on my GS without the locks..?

Know I meant secure not fall off, which they are.

Now recoded locks so all cool.
