This is just a recommendation for good value vario pannier inner bags.

I received mine a few days ago and am very pleased with the value for money.
Bought from USA, they took about 2 weeks to get here - but worth the wait.

It cost me $129.00 US inc. the carriage to UK.

Works out at about £67.00 for the full set.!!

Got my pannier bags from bobsbmw.com in the US. I may be unlucky, but had to pay VAT when they arrived, plus a custom's clearance fee for TNT, although Royal Mail will charge as well. When working out US prices add 17.5% and about £10 for the clearance to get the true price you pay. Still nice bags.

I have had a pair of Mane Event bags, and also bought a pair of the Bestem ones from Cruiser Backrest. Although I sold on the Bestem ones because I decided not to buy the BMW panniers, I thought the Bestem ones were vastly superior in quality - materials and construction. I didn't get stung for import duty etc so it must be the luck of the draw. Mine took 3 weeks to arrive though!
