Vario panniers

Just had a [Vario] pannier repaired and noticed that the two rubber plugs have come out of the bottom of the pannier. Obviously not fitted too well in the first place.

Anybody got any good ideas how to get them back in? They have a tapered section and then a lip which hold them in place. The problem is to get the tapered section through the hole.

Dab of washing up liquid and they'll slip in quicker than a slippery thing entering something slippery

Bit of water to wash it off afterwards to stop it slipping out again

You also might want to warm the bugs up a bit in hot water first to make em more pliable

WD40 then pull em through with a pair of pliers
