Due to my vario panniers getting a little scuffed on the silver areas I was interested to know if anyone has rapped their panniers and if not does anyone know of a company that does this ?.

You'll need rapping dad to help your rapping.

Most car graphics companies will wrap other stuff.
You can buy the film and have a go at DIY.

Sent via iPhone so expect strange words

3M stuff is nice and easy to use with a little patience and a hair drier.

Exactly. There's a company local to me that will help wrap any items, for a drink.

oh come on... GSs are not meant to be spotless, a few scratches here and there give sign of good adventures and stories to tell.

Now, if you drop the bike on your driveway at 0mph, then just make up a cool story :P

Done mine a few times. Get fed up with just change it. Need much patience and nice warm kitchen.:thumb Currently on traditional Black carbon fibre look, 3M gear gives best results and easiest to work with.. Did get a couple of bubbles in the first go, less the second and last one, 3M, is bubble free.

That looks good. I'm guessing eBay and YouTube are your friends to get and learn how to fit the stuff?

I never thought of wrapping but I only had one damaged lid .
Steel wheels silver is a perfect match so I filled and sprayed mine

Also did the tank side panels :). All you need is a good quality vinyl, heat adjustable hairdryer, a very sharp hobby knife and lotsssss of patience ;)

Wow that looks superb!
Let me know your address and I'll send mine over!!:beerjug:

;) The DIY option would be lots cheaper. Just buy a 1x1.52m piece of vinyl and give it a try.

It`s just a small hobby of mine, last summer i wrapped the GS in white vinyl:
