Vario top box on rear seat

When I had a TC I liked the top box in place of the rear seat, the new WC one is massive even in so called Small version so question is :
Has anyone found a solution to fitting the old style vario on the WC version pillion seat ?

If I recall correctly BMW produce a part that replaces the rear seat and accommodates the top box, you have to remove the grab handles though.

Luggage plate
• Luggage plate made of black painted plastic.
• Installs instead of the rear seat.
• Better weight distribution with items of luggage set closer to the vehicle's centre of gravity.
• Height matches the Vario cases: cases and plate together for a large, flat (luggage-carrying) surface for carrying bulky items.
• Installation of topcase possible only without standard luggage carrier and without rear grab handles.
• Easy access to standard on-board toolkit under hinged plate (with large GS logotype).
• Not in combination with Rallye seat with luggage plate.

Thank you for that but it only lets you put the new large top box on it, not the smaller TC version .
