I use this function, as I am sure most other people do, to check all the crap that has happened the evening before, what I would like to know is, can this be edited by me to only show new posts that I would be interested in?

Also what is the benifit of subscribing to a forum?

1) No.

2) Once you've subscribed to a thread, you'll get an email sent to you whenever anyone posts there.

Can be useful if you're an occasional user looking for specific info...you could for example post a tech question and when someone replies, you'd be told via email that it was there.

Not of huge use to that many though Lol.

You could use the little arrows to the right of each forum listing, or to the rifght of the last poster's name in any thread..this will jump you right to the end of the thread rather than to the first unread post so that you can skip stuff and see where the thread's gone.

Otherwise, nope, just crack open a tinny and get reading
