This is always where the sat nav takes you when going from Rotterdam and the route takes you on a bit of A road to link up the motorways.

No longer - it's all motorway now

This even surprised my Zumo which has the latest map updates....

Went up to Den Helder this week from Schiphol, a couple of bypasses around villages that the latest mapping from Garmin wasn't aware of.

I wonder how many other surprises there are?

There was another new motorway in the Spanish Pyrenees coming from Pamplona to Lake Yesa the Zumo has yet to be informed of.
