Verbal instructions are intermittent ??

Hi my 2610 seems to go mute on me and only talks to me when she feels like it, is this because its female or has anyone any other idears ??
( She was named April by the wife as she thought she was a fool)

If the intermittent voice prompts occur when used via an intercom then the most likely cause is the 2.5mm socket on the power/audio flylead. Try it by playing with the plug & socket while the 2610 is "speaking". If it is the problem then either cut off both the plug and the socket and hard wire them, or you can sometimes create a reliable connection by slipping a washer over the jack plug which forces the plug out of the socket a bit.
