When in Vern's workshop last week for a complimentary cup of coffee the discussions naturally came round to how I was finding the newly acquired 1100GS and I happened to mention the only real gripe was I seemed to be sitting at the front of the seat rather than on the wider more comfortable rear.

"Ahh" said mein host "I make a kit to enable the seat height to be tailored to the rider which sorts that out!"

10 minutes later the job was done and have to say well done at that!

Ride is far more comfortable, I'm not sliding against the tank under heavy braking and no need to have the seat recovered and rebuilt as I had intended to do.

Well worth contacting Vern for this. :thumb2

your not giving much away there then?

so am i assuming its a set of washers placed under the front seat clips? or is it some fangled device?

no matter how you move the seat its still uncomfortable:rolleyes:
